Kim Fowler is a traditional style illustrator, inspired by myths, fairytales and esoteric themes from all cultures. The art nouveau period is also a great influence on her artwork and a continual theme throughout her pieces. Kim works in high detail, with fine-liner pen, and pieces can take up to six months to complete dependant on scale. Her work engages the viewer to look closer and to lose themselves in the microscopic details. Goddesses are a reoccurring subject matter, from Roman to Aboriginal, and the empowering symbolism is highly significant in her work.
Kim sells original pieces of art, as well as providing affordable options printed onto stretched canvas or prints, posters and cards. Merchandise also spreads into jewellery, T-shirts and home decoration.
